Join us for a deeply restorative and luxurious all-female day retreat designed to nourish your whole self - mind, body, and nervous system.
Set within the peaceful, hilltop grounds of Paus, with gorgeous countryside views, this soul-soothing experience invites you to pause, reset, and realign as you gently move out of winter and blossom into spring.
Led by two highly experienced practitioners - Dr Tess Browne, a Chartered Clinical Psychologist specialising in emotional wellbeing and nervous system regulation, and Lizzie Bland, a female fitness expert specialising in Pilates and mindful movement - this retreat offers a rare opportunity to blend psychological and physical approaches to create a deeply holistic and restorative experience.
Retreat Overview
Through a carefully designed blend of energising Pilates and yoga, mindful movement, guided breath-work, and psychologically informed practices for settling the mind, you’ll leave feeling both steadied and re-energised - with practical tools to support your nervous system, ease stress, and reconnect with what truly matters to you.
The morning will centre on a thoughtfully balanced combination of nourishing movement and a guided psychological workshop. Through gentle movement, guided reflection, and clinically informed tools, you’ll be supported to better understand your stress responses and learn ways to restore a sense of steadiness and ease in everyday life. You’ll then sit down to enjoy a delicious seasonal lunch at the hilltop bistro, before heading out for a guided barefoot walk through the meadows - an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, and settle the body and mind. From there, you’ll have time to fully unwind in the wood-fired hot tubs and saunas - glass of fizz in hand - with the option to explore cold-water therapy if you’re feeling brave.
Whether you’re feeling stretched thin, running on empty, or simply craving space to pause and reset, this retreat offers a nurturing sanctuary for rest, renewal, and gentle intention-setting as you move into the season ahead.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
A full-day retreat guided by two expert facilitators (a full itinerary will be shared closer to the date)
Pilates, restorative movement, breathwork and guided mindfulness (suitable for all levels)
Science-backed strategies to ease stress and regulate your nervous system
Guided barefoot mindfulness walk
Three hours access to hilltop hot tubs, saunas and ice baths. Toiletries, hairdryers, and small lockers for personal valuables are provided.
Refreshments on arrival and a nourishing three-course vegetarian lunch at the hilltop bistro (N.B. drinks with lunch and any additional snacks or drinks from the on-site bistro are not included)
A glass of fizz during your spa session (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options)

Retreat Essentials
Please wear comfy clothing suitable for Pilates and a gentle walk, and bring a towel, swimwear, and suitable footwear for the bathing session.
Cancellations
All bookings are non-refundable. However, your place may be transferred to a friend if you’re unable to attend. Please notify us in writing at least 48 hours before the retreat.

Hosts
DR TESS BROWNE
Clinical and Coaching Psychologist specialising in emotional wellbeing and nervous system regulation.
Tess began her career in the NHS before founding two successful private psychology practices in Hong Kong and the UK. She now leads The Mind Atelier - a boutique online psychology clinic supporting women worldwide through therapy, coaching, workshops and retreats.
Tess is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered through the British Psychological Society (BPS). Her approach draws on advanced training in CBT, ACT and CFT, as well as specialist experience in stress, trauma, and emotional regulation.
LIZZIE BLAND
Female Fitness Expert specialising in Pilates and mindful movement
Lizzie is an experienced movement teacher known for her energising and encouraging approach. She founded and ran a successful female fitness company in Sydney for nine years before returning to the UK with her young family in 2023.
Her work spans teaching at events and retreats, delivering teacher trainings, mentoring instructors, hosting a wellness podcast, and consulting in fitness marketing.
Lizzie's qualifications include Mat Pilates, Pre & Postnatal Exercise, Certificate IV in Group Fitness and Personal Training, 200hr Yoga, Barre, Reformer Pilates, Transcendental Meditation, Anatomy & Physiology and Nutrition For Fitness.
